Fully Funding Public Education

Our children are the future, and we need to be investing in their success, not cutting school days and paying teachers  salaries below the national living wage.

Fund our schools:

As your next State Senator I will fight to ensure our public schools are fully fundedand protect the 5-day school week. When we invest in the education of Missouri's children, we are investing in a better economy. I believe that our investment of public dollars should go to public schools, not private schools. As a proud public school graduate, I will stand up for our public education system.

Pay our teachers:

Our teachers are pillars of the community and they deserve a whole lot more than what they are getting paid right now. Missouri is 50th in the nation for starting teacher pay. Instead of undermining and underpaying our amazing and talented educators, I will make sure they get paid what they deserve, a real living wage. As your next State Senator, I will stand up for our educators and let teachers focus on one job: educating our kids.
